    They could sell solid hardware at an appropriate price, but a stable source of #RecurringRevenue enables a more attractively consistent return on *shareholder* investment and makes budgeting and planning easier.

    Different hardware + supplies/services companies strike different balances. HP’s is just *really* tilted.
