CW: game recommendation: Final Profit (a shop rpg) as a capitalist critique
One of the few games that manages to blend mechanics and wriring into an impactful narrative. And that narrative is one of hurting others and being hurt by the decisions you make in a system you disagree with.
It's also a game that makes profit seeking feel addictive but shameful - and delivers on the narrative promise made by exponential growth games - growth through exploitation is *satisfying* on a deep level, but the guilt its beneficients must rationalize grows faster than the profit.
(FL is also just very creative in its mechanics, and worth checking out as a candybox of ideas to discover)

I tried Assassins Creed: Origins yesterday but I don't know if it's because I'm not feeling well, that I can't get into it, or if I'm just not that into it. I need something to occupy the brain while I'm off stream though. Any recommendations welcome! (PS4 preferably)

New Show Recommendation: Kipo and the age of the wonder beasts.
Very similar vibe to new She-Ra. Really fascinating world building. Good emotional themes on trust and belonging. We've just finished Season 1 and looking forward to the next 2.

I need a #recomendation for a new method of messaging friends.
I'm like 75% sure that I'm just going to end up with XMPP and IRC, but I'm not happy about either of these.
Also, I need good XMPP apps for mobile. And I'd really love End-to-end encryption *with* multi-device sync.
The biggest hurdle here, though, is convincing literally any of my friends to join in, so the slicker the thing is, the better.
What can I get.
