Do you have a recliner? They are such needy pieces of furniture. You sit down and kickback in the recliner at it doesn't want to let you leave. When you want to get up to do some work, it whispers in your ear, "don't worry, you can do that tomorrow." It is almost a hostage situation. The chair will hold you there in a state of suspended animation, where time seems to stand still and your thoughts drift into a realm of contemplation and calm. That is until a hero comes along to wake you from the stasis. In my case that hero is usually Charlie, who will expend great energy to shake me into action and ensure that I arise and open the door.
