    I might add my own quick-and-dirty version of #GadoGado too, with a list of my preferred veggies for it, but I'd first have to make it again so I can take pictures ;p

    CW: NYE baking, alcohol mention

    Well, the #apples for this year's #Dutch #tradition of #NYE #appelBeignets (sort of #appleFritters?) are marinating overnights in a mixture of vanilla sugar, granulated sugar, #cinnamon, 60% #Stroh #rum and plain white #Bacardi rum. Hopefully I'll remember to take pics for #RecipEasy tomorrow. :)

    I used up the last of my #StrohRum though (hence the addition of inferior Bacardi) :(, so I'll want to get a replacement bottle at some point next year.

    Today as a late #lunch, I'm having a melted #cheese #toastie and two slices #garlic / #oliveOil #toast.

    Last weekend I spotted some lovely #spelt #bread on discount that otherwise would've been way too expensive, so I gave it a go.
    It's a lovely broad loaf with a slightly salty flavour; something that wouldn't be amiss in a pub with some garlic butter, a nice beverage and good company.

    CW: food, meat (and a CW for cats: cucumber)

    Made some excellent #food yesterday, if I may say so myself. Marinaded #chickenFilet in a #homemade #ketjapManis-based #satay marinade, fried it with some wok veggies, and served it with rice and quick-pickled #cucumber.

    Took plenty of pictures, so I should be able to add the recipe to #recipEasy.
