Anfang Dezember wurde der von uns geplante Ladepark Fährstraße der Stadtwerke Düsseldorf eröffnet. Falls euch also kurz vor der Düsseldorfer Innestadt der Strom ausgeht: An der Fährstraße könnt ihr schnell und bequem wieder aufladen. Ganz im Sinne der Nachhaltigkeit haben wir eine Station mit Photovoltaik-Dach auf Holzstützen realisiert. Kommt vorbei und überzeugt euch selbst!

#Recharging The #Batteries.

A commission for Bellied Bird to draw their friendly emotional support Goodra robot assistant in SS13.
Their ref featured a for-scale sprite comparison that seemed similar so I correctly guessed that guy is from/for playing with SS13 and drew the kitchen from one of the servers I could google.

Shortly before I even tried drawing and loong before I started doing commissions I did some SS13 character sprites editing to add furries to the mix of a private RedditfursSteam server.

Started doing it for fun but peeps liked it enough I tried to support as many species as I could. It was surprisingly hard to stick to the same template to make sure items and ears, snout etc didn't look too out of place or stick out too much in weird ways.

I don't know if I could still find the sprites if I tried (maybe?). After working on this commission me and noxid decided to check out SS14 and I'm happy to see nowadays there's a lot more furry species on SS14.

Had to ask friends for help on this one and suggest better color balance because it initially was wayy too dark and made the character accidentally look evil.

Spent some much-needed time outdoors today. One of the bird feeder holders (an old metal coat rack I found in a free pile) had blown over yesterday. Cleaned it up and turned it into a plant hanger (which it was in a former life). Started digging up the front garden and found a bunch of baby onions and garlic from previous years' crops going to seed. Dug those up and transplanted them into containers. Between those and the little red potatoes I stored from last season, I won't have to buy onions or seed potatoes from the local feed store this year!

Loving the INA219 Voltage and Current sensor. Allows my robot to monitor the Li-Ion battery recharging, and get off the dock when the charging current less is than 20mA. The robot is getting back on the dock when voltage shows there is about 15 minutes "playtime" left before the battery jerks the power off.

So anyone who can shine some light on this:

I have a battery charger (similar to the one in the picture) for AA / AAA batteries and use it extensively with NiMH rechargeable batteries.

HOWEVER: Once the display shows 100% and I take out the battery and put it back in, it’s all of a sudden not 100% anymore, but like say 89%. How come?

Any boosts welcomed :)
