Predictably, we managed to clear the game on the second attempt. The stream took an hour longer, though, not because I ran into trouble, but probably because I did 2 15-floor dungeon delves. There is technically still post-game content available, but I'll leave that as an exercise to the reader :blobcatWink:

It was another short but sweet Recettear stream. One week closer to our Final Destination, and 80,000 pix down the drain. We're at roughly 500,000 pix now, so we just need to get the remaining 200,000 pix somehow, and we should be able to get by just fine :blobcatUwu:

Well, in the end, we were about 54,000 pix short of making the 500,000 pix. Yikes.
But now that we've entered the second loop and carried over levels, equipment, inventory, and shop contents, we're actually starting off quite well. In fact, both the 10,000 pix and 30,000 pix goals are essentially in the bag already.
Guess we continue to see if we make it the second time around, or if I will have to resort to the third loop. Speaking of which… @sanekstreams, how many loops did it take you to clear Recettear? :blobcatThinking:

Yayifications! We managed to pay off the 200,000 pix instalment as well!
Now we just need to… uh… *checks notes* pay 500,000 pix for a total of… 820,000 pix, and we have a bit less than a week to get that. Phew. Guess we have our work cut out for us. Let's see if we'll manage.

Phew, we did get the 30,000 pix needed to pay off the second instalment of the debt repayment in the end. Selling a vase with a base price of 24,000-ish pix really helped there. Let's hope we get something that convenient for the upcoming payment of 80,000 pix as well :blobcatSmileSweat:
Oh, and we managed to recruit Charme, the Lady Thief who brutally murdered us on Monday. Well. How the turntables.

And so, we managed to get through the first week of Recette's quest to repay her father's debts.
Now we're up to a payment target that's three times as high, and we're already underperforming—being defeated in the dungeon, accidentally buying items at a high price, failing to sell high-priced items,… Guess we'll see next time if I can make it through another week :blobcatEyes:
