I can’t think of anything else that upsets me about #Mastodon so I might just as well get back to the boosting issue.I have a suggestion of the “what if” sort this time. What if your #home #timeline also showed #toots #favorited by the people you #follow. Wouldn’t it be nice to boost the boosting function this way and give an extra power-up to the content #distribution?
Ok, I may not be the first to come up with this idea. Maybe it has already been tested and proved technically unfeasible. But still, what if....

But I’ve cut back a bit recently for a simple reason: I can’t hide boosted posts from my #profile.

I'm not going to lie, it's pretty weird seeing all these reblogged replies in my feed. They're out of context and they clearly have nothing to do with me, so I just scroll past them. What else am I going to do? But it's not a good experience. 😕

@wiseguyeddie Ive actually tried to think of something connected to #Mastodon that’s catchy to replace #post or #toot but I’m drawing a blank. Most adjectives connected to elephants are too aggressive for the lovely type of conversation I find here. I don’t won’t to “stomp” or “trumpet” 😂 at someone, although I would have loved it if #Reblogging had been named “stampeding” 😜 #Twitter #twittermigration #newbie

One of the things I love about Mastodon is the huge amount of #reblogging / #sharing /call it what you will.
That’s how the #birdsite used to be when I joined in ‘09. It was a real #community and this place has the same vibe ❤️
