Everybody goes: Dont’t be like Ursula. Don’t sign up to #wsocial! The #ID stealing #realnameregistration proprietary fork of bluesky.

W is “built on the open AT-Protocol” … only that W is closed.

“W is built on verified human users, transparency, privacy, and free speech.” … only that its users can’t veryfy W’s claims, e.g. about privacy, because W runs on proprietary code.

Most of #W social's claims & promisses are wrong, but people got excited about the network and joined anyway
