Is it me or do all #Midjourney & #StableDiffusion #AIArt pieces have their own kind of look & then add a plasticy sheen over it all?

I usually peg them before I see an identifier saying that they are #AI generated. At the very least, I can usually see that they are generated. Often I can tell if they are from Midjourney or a different tool.

It's so sad, as everything is getting so homogenized so quickly.

Instead, follow quirky #RealArtists making real #Art & relish their distinctive styles.

Lawsuits are pending. PAY A REAL ARTIST. ASK questions if you do not know if they are creating their work by their own hands.

I SAY "NO" to AI Art because they are STEALING my art for their datasets. I am fine with it if artists "opt in". If it is done ethically, I don't care. It's NOT currently ethical.

After careful consideration I will stop posting #aiart. It is extremely convenient because you can somehow produce stunning images solely generated from prompts (and I will still use #aiart as art decor, in the same way that you can buy say a poster from ikea). Yet #aiart has a lot of potential to harm #realartists. Real artists like my mum, a #strong #Galician working class woman seeing here in her self-portrait. #noaiart

Please SUPPORT #realartists #humanart #humanartists Artificial Intelligence or AI creates images called “art” on the backs of artists being exploited. AI generators are currently scraping the web for art and using it in datasets. No artist gave consent to have their art used this way. We were not compensated. It's THEFT pure and simple.
