I think this may well be my last bottle of Ossian. The Inveralmond Brewery in Perth got taken over by Innis & Gunn in 2016 and now Innis & Gunn have gone bust and the Inveralmond Brewery is closed.
This makes me sad. It's been my go to local pint for 16 years and now it's gone.
Cheers.

Now, if these people would drink #RealAle, they wouldn't have to worry about needing additional carbon dioxide

'Directly questioned about whether Brits will be able to get a beer during the summer World Cup, which starts on June 11, Kyle said: βAt this moment, this is not a concern for our economy, okay? I can reassure people of that.β'

#CAMRA seem to be about to create confusion - their new strategy promotes "live beer", rather than "real ale". The two are the same thing, but their very name includes the words "Real Ale". I don't see how this rebranding helps consumers find real ale rather than "fresh beer"/"craft ale"/"nitrokeg". And then they also mention "cask beer". We need a single unifying term rather than three.

Some tips for NERAX this week(end)
1) It's pay as you go for 1/4, 1/2 and full pints. Bring cash. Seriously, cash no cards. Tip your crew, they're volunteers
2) Skip the line, buy your ticket in advance
3) Eat before you go. They usually have a food vendor but you don't want to be drinking on an empty stomach.
4) Take the T or a ride share. Seriously, don't drive
5) Popular casks go early. (Fear the reaper. IYKYK) -

For those going out to celebrate St Patrick's Day instead of drinking bland Guinness try a delicious cask stout instead! #StPatricksDay #RealAle #Beer

If you like real, cask ale and are in the Boston area the 25th through 28th I highly recommend checking out NERAX. It's all cask conditioned, many of which your unlikely to see anywhere else without crossing an ocean. Details, such as they are, at https://nerax.org/ (Hey, they're beer geeks not tech bros.)
@knizer something for the list?
