Kelsey Leonard a legal scholar and water policy specialist talked about water and climate science on a TED Talk that I wrote about in my IngeniousVortex Blog today: Water So Essential To All Life. Kelsey Leonard is also from the Shinnecock Nation, an indigenous tribe who lived on Long Island.

Huge news in the battery world… A new zinc battery under development is capable of storing and releasing 99.95% of the energy it is charged with on each cycle. Lithium ion batteries share 99% of stored charge.
Many rechargeable batteries now are lithium-ion which also include other rare metals like cobalt and nickel. This is driving the high cost of manufacture and sales. Sustainably is now more achievable due to readily available zinc.
