I #amreading my final book of the year: THE SHORT STORY OF THE NOVEL by Henry Russell.
It is exactly what the title promises it to be, and I am happy that it is not dry. Russell remains factual throughout, but his writing style is engaging. He's making me curious about a lot of books that I have never considered consuming before.
On that note, do I need to read HEART OF DARKNESS by Joseph Conrad?

Such a great series. I must admit that I am struggling a bit with the latest because Ada Palmer is just crazy clever and these books are very complex but just sooo good.
