A couple of years ago I went through the same thing Karen has and had the same response: I gave up most of the challenges that required me to read specific books and just read what I wanted to, when I wanted to. That approach has worked out well for her, as it did for me.

#readingplanDespite the stack of unread books I’ve accumulated, along with the wishlist of ebooks I haven’t yet purchased, I don’t have a specific plan of what and when I will read. The exception is when I have a specific goal in mind, or books my book club demands I read. 😉 Otherwise there are topics that interest me, and books that come along in those areas will make it onto the mental list I keep.
