#ReadingFC fans’ group @[email protected] “incredibly relieved to read (club statement) that provisions have been made to satisfy wages and the taxman”. Club also confirmed that "exclusivity period with the prospective buyer (Robert Platek) has now expired" but it is in "advanced dialogue with an alternative bidder".
“We strongly suspect that (Rob) Couhig is now the club’s alternative bidder,” say Sell Before We Dai. “Whoever the ‘new’ bidder is, please just get the takeover done. Everything good about this club is being betrayed by this disastrous sale process and it’s distracting from a truly incredible season on the pitch.”

Local MP Yuan Yang joins Reading fans’ group Sell Before We Dai and the Supporters’ Trust to launch petition demanding a Parliamentary inquiry into the club’s absent owners. Fans plan to collect signatures for the petition before Saturday’s home game against Birmingham City.
