  3. I love #AMD, #NVIDIA, & sometimes #INTEL. I want American TECH to be ethical & Thrive. I want them to create jobs & win.

However, this deal is outright bonkers. MS invested in Apple's comeback. But NVIDIA was set to be a CPU competitor in 2026 to both for #WindowsArm

    I hope #AMD wins anyways with #Chiplets , & #RDNA5 #RDNAChiplets, and #photonics

  5. Sorry guys, but the #Z2Extreme doesn't look like a huge leap in performance.

Guess we will have to wait until AMD gets their shit together for #RDNA5 and #Zen6, hopefully on TSMC 3nm, to see if there are big performance leaps or not.

There is a reason why Valve hasn't released a Steam Deck 2, and this is the answer to that question.

  6. Since RDNA4 is being reported as "a bugfix for RDNA3", i consider RDNA5 has the last hurra for Radeon.

if AMD can't produce a RX 9000 Series that literally disrupt the market, not even Intel will.

They will have a chance on iGPU and embedded solutions. ARM/RISCV will become ubiquitous in software and games, and the reign of x86 will (hopefully) come to an end.

  7. The reason I see the second possibility as likely is because cutting down the 4090 so much means that, by releasing a TU102-sized die that has a larger percentage of its units enabled, as well as having a new architecture could just BARELY afford them a Turing-like performance increase at little to no extra power

Then they can leverage N3 for a top-tier competitor to #RDNA5 if they so choose
