I am wary of online commenters on news sites, but I've been to enough #raves until late 00s (in both London/SE England and #EastAnglia to believe the one who pointed out #ravers were still on site by 18:00 Sunday).

This is the weak point (and allowed #Police to take action, confiscating the sound equipment and busting folk for #DUI) - a new shift of cops (with a lot of Specials) against knackered sleep deprived ravers are obviously going to win any confrontation..

In 90s/00s what happened more often is the rave wound down about 10:00-12:00 and everyone dispersed and cleared up the area - and old bill pretty much left crews and partyfolk alone to do that rather than get the next shift ready for heavy stuff, but with todays DUI laws that may not be possible >>

FFS - the whole reason the old bill once partly turned a blind eye to unlicensed #raves is that unlike normie nightlife, folk generally *didn't* get stabbed at these events.. (and this is the second similar incident in a couple of weeks, there appears to have been a murder at an unlicensed event in the Midlands which is currently being investigated)

I'm glad #BBC at least allowed Zak some publicity, and I believe he *is* straightedge (his other social media show he's got an interest in cars, if he was partaking of any substances old bill would soon have tracked him down and yoinked his licence), but I fear he doesn't realise that once the #rave has gone over a certain level and enough locals have complained, the #Police are authorised to use whatever force is necessary to close it down and seize the equipment - anyone who was on the scene in 90s/00s would have witnessed something like this (or worse( at least once

Não tinha conhecimento deste documentário. Mas sinceramente parece-me que tem um título demasiado pretensioso. Portugal nunca foi um país com uma cultura de música electrónica de dança lá muito forte, sobretudo comparado com o que se passava aqui ao lado em Espanha (Barcelona e principalmente Ibiza). Enfim, isto parece-me mais uma campanha para promover o turismo neste país do que outra coisa. Mas o trailer não deixa de ser engraçado.

Spatial Awareness Training in parties when it is rammo so that neurodivergent people like yours truly don’t have to rage quit parties? I found out at a later age that I would love dancing in decent clubs and it does help with my hyperactivity and racing brain, while I get excited when they present unique non-standard sets but I find it hard when some groups stand up with phones and stuff doing nothing just invading my dance space. I can get on with some of the busy gigs and parties when I see people are properly into it...I’m still developing coping mechanisms for my sensitivities including irritability and overwhelming distress with certain sounds and smell and crowds especially in public transport. Neurotypical coping mechanisms wouldn’t work.

#Raves, especially undergrounds, are being oppressed. Apparently Biden introduced an-anti rave bill in the early 2000s too. Basically America is a dictator in a sheep skin despite what party is ruling.

#Raves were born from undergrounds and was illegal. However, it thrived and survived to where it is now. Undergrounds still are illegal in some areas.

I shared the actual reason I dislike nightclubs with them because I was worried about my triggers. I was nervous that I wouldn't be dancing and vibing freely like I was at raves and house parties with them in the past.
