I'll always be fond of the Tamil version because that's the dub I've seen it first, but I do think the Tamil version of this really poetic (and probably closest to the Telugu original).

Initially I dismissed it as another romance song (but there'll be an even more egregious one later in this installment) but as a story-building piece it's an amazing piece of work (Mahendra basically got conned by a divine avatar through his young man hormones to learn skills to avenge his dad thru his struggle to scale the mountain. You learn very soon it's a con because right after this you meet Avantika who's basically a lethal killing machine lmao).
