Во второй раз прошёл Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, но в этот раз уже не на ноутбуке с Vega 7, выдававшим 16 - 20 FPS, и говногеймпадом от DEXP, в котором даже о банальном степени нажатия курков мечтать не приходится, а уже на нормальном компьютере и c DualSense в руках с его гимиком в виде Adaptive Triggers.

Я и в прошлый раз очень понравилась игра, но однозначно в этот раз я получил ещё больше удовольствия от игры (ну оно и понятно - одно дело играть в 16FPS и таким себе геймпадом, а другое - в 60-75FPS и ДуалСенсом, под который игра в первую очередь и создавалась, бывший эксклюзив PS5 как никак), хотя в этот раз я и словил интересных прЕколов: разок застрял в карманом измерении, так как разлом после респавна не открылся, разок разлом в гонке на стрижуке не открылся, из-за чего я благополучно отправился в бездну, разок словил баг, где у меня Рэтчет под водой был без кислородной маски.

I think it has been too long since I last said I really love Rivet.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart was/is in general a really great game (and I have a cute anecdote about it in a seperate post soon). It's really fun AND has impressive technical feats.

But to fictional-character-crushing me Rivet was the best addition!

She's cute, smart, strong.
But she's also traumatized by her past, which doesn't prevent her from being nice and friendly, on the contrary. But it does make her doubting, distrusting and sad.

And I love how they made a hurt, traumatized character NOT bitter, but care and worry about others even more, and still have such a happy side when she's among friends.

And she's damn cute!

Recently toying around with Wwise. Granted, it's mainly for modding the almost-five-year-old #ratchetandclankriftapart, but knowing my interest (and profession) in game audio, it might be useful knowledge anyway.

I like that the style of Ratchet & Clank games allow for things to not make too much sense, because where the hell does this robot even come from all the time. 5 Seconds ago this was a battlefield.

Must've an excellent sense for business given I just used a lot of ammunition.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart's Raytraced Reflection option would be a lot nicer if it didn't also silently force enable screen space reflections.

It doesn't use raytracing for large water surfaces...

The raytraced shadows are really nice tho.

If I had to describe Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart I'd probably say it's a fun little battle of chaos. Which is a good thing for a game like this, funny, somewhat hard but not too much and definitely not repetitive.

It's a lot of fun, for kids and ever not-so-much-kids. Go check it out, now!

After replaying Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart a bit I really noticed the lack of attack variety between boss fights.

You will already see nearly every attack any boss will use after your first boss fight. And the final boss has maybe one unique attack.

I had played some of them before but have only finished them last year. Even the “worst” which is Dawntrail was still a fine experience.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is such an amazing and adorable game! Its graphics is mindblowing on the #SteamDeck! I couldn‘t imagine that this is even possible since the Deck isn‘t as powerful as a #PS5 is. I took this #screenshot in docked mode in 1920x1080 while playing with XBox controller on TV.
I also tested it on my Linux desktop with Proton and raytracing on a RTX 3070Ti. It just works, but you have to set texture quality to medium.

Spannend. #RatchetAndClankRiftApart scheint tatsächlich auf dem Steam Deck ganz anständig zu laufen. Lediglich die Dimensionswechsel dauern wohl (im Vergleich zur PS5) ewig, was mangels SSD auch irgendwie erwartbar war.

Jetzt brauchts nur noch ein "wenn Du ein PS5 - Spiel gekauft hast gibt's kostenlos einen Steam-Key dazu" - Feature(*)

I have no idea what the problem is but #RatchetandClankRiftApart PC Port, I keep freezing. My PC hits the minimum and even recommended specs. So it's not like my PC is out of date.

Gerade versucht #RatchetAndClankRiftApart zu spielen. Uff ey. Ich verstehe absolut den Hype nicht. Grafisch und vom Controller her ja echt nett, aber uff.

Die Synchro klingt wie ein satirischer Fan-Dub von YouTube aus 2006. Außer Nefarius scheint niemand Spaß an dem Job gehabt zu haben. Der Sound im Generellen ist echt schlecht abgemischt. Ständig clippt man irgendwo durch und stirbt, weil man versucht irgendwo hochzukommen, und man zwischen Elementen stecken bleibt.

Und das Schlimmste ist einfach dieser Minions-Humor. Der ist flacher als die Erde für Flat-Earther. Ich bin ja großer Fan von Dad Jokes, aber das ist noch weit darunter.

Definitiv nicht mein Spiel.

Just finished #RatchetAndClankRiftApart and whilst I didn't love it (more of a me thing I think), it's an absolute spectacle to behold. Every single frame oozes beauty and delight.

Solid addition to that genre for sure, and one I don't regret playing. Loved the new characters too.

And the PS5 is no longer necessary!
