I made another neon doodle I have been wanting to make for awhile. A mini rasta doodle.
Blacklight is notoriously difficult (and expensive) but sorta fun when you get used to it. Of course Emerald, a usual nemesis of mine, was acting up. I shouldn't have left behind the imperfection from the emerald cracking the first time.
Long story short it isn't the kiln pumped 9 headed coil of black and colorful spikes that I wanted- but I did learn a few things. I want less green. Perhaps un-coated (transparent) emerald, or if I can find a larger diameter of emerald. I also want to use Saffron- the golden shade of yellow tubing instead of the easier to work with Sunflower. The saffron will make it more challenging, but a better warm white in the end. And bigger red sections.

I remember when this was shown on '60 Minutes' and the scandal that was associated with Bob Marley, when he was treated like a wild man in Australian media. I made Ital Stew last night and it was fantastic! I didn't have all the veggies but I figure that using what you got is part of the recipe. Mine had garlic, onion, allspice, thyme, red habanero, Lima beans, peanuts, sweet potatoes, plantain, okra and gai-lan. All cooked in coconut milk.
