Das kann ich nicht bestätigen. Bei mir läuft ein Raspberry 2B seit mindestens 6 Jahren ohne Probleme mit und von einer SD-Karte.

Ich würde nicht die billigste SD-Karte kaufen und die Kapazität nicht voll ausnutzen (bei mir aktuell 63% Auslastung).

Kennt hier jemand etwas ähnlich "Industrie-taugliches" wie ein Revolution Pi?

Aber zu einem Consumer-freundlichen Preis?

Hintergrund ist, dass ein Kunde von mir gerne ein Raspi in einem Mietshaus installieren würde. Für Automatisierung / SmartHome / Lademanagement etc.

Er lebt selbst nicht darin und hat keine Lust, alle paar Wochen ein gecrashtes Pi auszutauschen oder SD-Karten zu rotieren.

Das Ding wird installiert und muss dann einfach einige Jahre ohne viel Liebe durchlaufen.

Mit anderen Worten: Einfach stabil sein. SW wird natürlich aktualisiert, aber auf HW-Faxen haben er und ich keine Lust.

Gibt's da einen Tipp? :)

Hmm, I can prob run VLC on it and have my audio chimes playing down there too rather than just in the kitchen (via the awkward VLC over telnet integration).

Zum gestrigen #DiDay habe ich mich endlich ans Projekt eigene #nextcloud aufm #raspi gemacht.

Bis auf das mit der dynamischen IP läuft auch alles topp.

Es war nicht so einfach wie es sein könnte weil

und so ging weder SSH noch dass sich das nextcloudpi image selbständig im lokalen Netz erreichbar macht.

When in #Cambridge don’t miss the world’s only #RaspberryPi store in the Grand Arcade. They even had a keyboard with a German layout (I broke mine some weeks ago) and gave me the official handbook in German for free ♥️

ps: The keyboard of the 500+ (not mine, first picture on the very left) is absolutely awesome, the keys change colors when you use them according to your typing speed (high speed = red) 😳

Dear AlpineLinux-on-Raspi users,

did something change in regards to UART and the serial console in the latest Alpine releases?

I set up two Raspi 1Bs with 3.22 end of last year. One of them died and damaged the sd card. I tried setting up a new 1B using a new card, but cannot get the serial console working. I think I used the same steps as before:

"enable_uart=1" in the config.txt
"console=/dev/ttAMA0,115200" added to the cmdline.txt

But I cannot get the serial console working. I also tried a Raspi2 with the armv7l image. Same issue.

Any ideas?

Ich stehe ja mittlerweile auf Dateiübertragungstools wie Croc oder Wormhole.

Praktischerweise lassen die sich auch auf einem heimischen Raspi o.ä. installieren und man kann Daten aller Größe quer durch das Internet verteilen ohne auf eine Cloud o.ä. angewiesen zu sein.

Lediglich ein Client muss installiert sein und einen Code der über einen belieben Messenger, Chat o.ä. geteilt werden kann. Für Wormhole sogar mit einer ganz guten GUI.

#Bastelprojekt. Ich habe da den #Raspi 5 mit M2 - Hat und der tut seinen Job, aber der 30mm Lüfter jammert schon arg.
Es gibt da diese 120mm USB-Lüfter mit regelbarer Geschwindigkeit, mit Gummifüßen und Gitter beidseitig usw.
Also Gitter einseitig aufgemacht und Raspi-Gehäuse dazwischen mit 3D-Drucker gedruckt.

Installing Espanso for Wayland

Espanso is a cross-platform text expander written in Rust. Follow these instructions to install Espanso 2.3.0 for Wayland on your Debian-based distribution.

Compiling from source

If you are installing on any platform other than amd64 or simply prefer compiling software from source, start at Step 1.

Using the Debian binary package

If you are installing on amd64 hardware and would like to use the binary package for installation, start at Step 7.

Step 1

Install the required packages from your distribution’s software repository.

Experimental support for Wayland
