  5. The Light Rail Transit (#LRT) service for the #KelanaJaya Line is expected to achieve a three-minute frequency during peak hours by the end of this month. The current train frequency for peak hours is 3.8 minutes.

    As for the #Kajang Mass Rapid Transit (#MRT) Line, train wheel replacements are underway, and the targeted train frequency during peak hours is set to improve from six minutes to four minutes by end of January 2024.

  7. An opposition MP wants the government’s assurance that its decision to revive the construction of five #LRT stations in the #KlangValley will not affect the progress of the #LRT3 project.

    As of the third quarter of 2023, about 86.5% of the LRT3 project had been completed and it is expected to be completed by March 2025.

    Last week, it was announced that five LRT stations in the Klang Valley that were cancelled in 2018 would be revived.

  8. The LRT Ampang/Sri Petaling line is expected to resume operations on 29 February next year after the comprehensive repair work on the flyover and track structure near the Bandaraya LRT station is completed.

  12. Kuala Lumpur Standard Chartered Marathon (KLSCM) is informing runners that they encourage the runners to take public transport to the KLSCM event this weekend to ensure a quick and easy journey.

    Selected stations on the Ampang, Sri Petaling and Kelana Jaya LRT lines will commence operations from 3:30am (Saturday) and 1:30am (Sunday) and will run at interval of 15 minutes.

  13. The frequency of the peak hour trains of the Kelana Jaya LRT line will be at three minutes once all 27 new trains under Kuala Lumpur Additional Vehicle (KLVA27) are received next year.

    Prasarana and Rapid Rail have so far received 11 trains, of which three began operations today. By the end of this year, three more trains will arrive.

    This is following a complaint received from Rapid Rail Sdn. Bhd. (#RRSB) related to the illegal draining of water by the adjacent restaurant.
