#Prasarana will prepare a full #report on the case of a #tyre from a #KLMonorail #train which caught fire and fell onto the road near Jalan Tun Razak in Sentul
They are still investigating the cause of the #incident, no one was injured in the incident and services were not disrupted

The initiative is expected to benefit disabled riders in the #KlangValley, #Penang and #Kuantan, #Pahang.

The use of debit & credit cards as payment methods for #RapidKL’s #train services has been in testing for years.
#Prasarana is expected to finally begin infrastructure construction for open payment system on RapidKL’s #rapidrail network in March 2024.
This will take 11 months, with 50% of gantries at station planned to be able to accept open payment mode by February 2025.
Further down the line, all gantries will be fitted with the new system by August 2025.

An opposition MP wants the government’s assurance that its decision to revive the construction of five #LRT stations in the #KlangValley will not affect the progress of the #LRT3 project.
As of the third quarter of 2023, about 86.5% of the LRT3 project had been completed and it is expected to be completed by March 2025.

The original plan was to complete the repair work and resume operations by the middle of October, however, some other damage had been detected on the structure of two nearby flyovers which required comprehensive repair works.

Rapid KL is informing good news for Putrajaya Line MRT feeder bus users.
