  3. Doing some work on my #R package #RandomWalker and looks like we got a nice speedup coming for all of the generating functions. Over 2,000 replications saw a large speedup where the original function takes 2.8x as long as the new. #RStats #RProgramming #Optimization

I'm choice 2, using group_nest and map as it retains the original column types and there is no need to rename, although if I put some effort into it I'm sure I could remove the need to enframe and rename.   9. You can use the custom_walk() function in #RandomWalker to use distributions that are either not yet supported by the package or custom to you, remember to only return a single value from your function and let custom_walk() do the rest. #R #RStats #RProgramming #Code #tidydata
