I am deeply disappointed that the Hata branded #ramune soda bottles sold in Japan come in plastic bottles where the marble can be removed by unscrewing the blue lid. This destroys the magic of the glass original 😢

Thought I was going to get to drink a new beer with dinner tonight, but I found and served bottles of Blueberry and Melon flavour ramume (Japanese soda in glass bottles with a marble stoppers).
The kids didn’t like the Blueberry flavour so I got that instead - they enjoyed the melon flavour which is just as well, too sweet for anyone else! 🫐🍈 #ramune

Trying some #Japanese penny #candy (#dagashi) that my wife won at the party last night:
• #Sakuranbo #mochi, cherry-flavored gummy candy made from rice cake
• #Meisan #PachiPachiPanic cola popping candies mixed with #ramune fizzy tablets, kind of like American #PopRocksPlease forgive if I’m not describing them correctly, I’m neither a Japanese speaker nor terribly familiar with the culture. But I like trying new things!

Kennt Ihr Flaschen mit Glaskugelverschluss? Früher üblich. Gibt heute weltweit nur noch zwei Limos, die das verwenden. Eine davon ist #Ramune aus #Japan. Hier ein Selbstversuch.
Wie funktioniert das? Das Getränk braucht Kohlensäure. Diese drückt eine Glaskugel in den Flaschenhals. Um die Flasche zu öffnen, muss man die Kugel in die Flasche drücken. Dort wird sie in einem Hohlraum gefangen. Weil sie in der leeren Flasche so rumklackert, hießen die Getränke früher #Klickerbrause.
