Today was our first summer day in the 40s - peaked at 41º celsius *. It's not unusual in these parts, but quite early in the season - thank goodness for aircon!

This mattress probably got washed down the rambla (dry riverbed) when it last flooded a few weeks ago. Kids probably found it and dragged to the middle of the road. Maybe 🤷♂️?!

This afternoon a couple of ibex came to visit - they're looking for water and have figured out we put out plenty for stray cats.
