Here’s a wild thought. What if arcades make a full-on comeback? Or internet cafés, gaming clubs, etc.
(Inspired by the price of a #SteamMachine, the cost of consoles, $80 games, and everything else happening in the gaming/tech world.)
To be clear, I don’t think it can happen tomorrow. But the return of social spaces (“third space”) would be good.

Invest in a recently-off-lease workstation barebones (or CPU+RAM+disk) computer, with an OS that will NOT be chained to some dumbass, clueless board member, forcing LLM stuff for their immediate gain, leaving everyone stranded later.

Probably just a coincidence that the flash points for AI and US awfullness hit at the same time
