I watched the Neill Blomkamp short film "Rakka" again recently.

The alien design was unnerving at times, but the short isn't as polished as other Blomkamp outings such as Elysium or District 9. There isn't enough time to let the characters develop. However, it is a proof of concept.

At 21 minutes, it is worth a watch.
