youth = jeunesse = जवानी
dead = morte = मृत्
because = car = कारण
glow = lueur = लौ
given = donne = दान
thus/thereby = ainsi = ऐसे/ऐसी
people = gens = जन

By artist Nihal Chand, who worked for the #Maharaja in the final years of the 17th century.
Raj Singh is seated in a Howdah atop an #Elephant & attended by a young Prince on a Horseback & members of his court.
