If anyone is keen, I will be leading a #iaido practise for beginners on Sunday 12:00, here in #Nurmijärvi, at the #Rajamäki taekwondo club.
Open to everyone and there is no cost.

Next Sunday we will have a special visitor. Adina Angeleschu-Hakala, 4th dan #Taekwondo will be at our club sharing her insights from that art, and then we will see if we can find connections to #Aikido.

If you’re at all interested in #aikido or budo or #martialArts, or just to get some nice movement, come to my basics class tomorrow (Monday) at 18:30 in #Rajamäki. All ages welcome, both younger and older, and no previous experience in anything needed. It’s free and with no obligations. Just nice to share some things.

This weekend we have our traditional summer #aikido seminar, headed by our sensei, Tom Granström (6th dan).
* Fri at 7pm
* Sat 1pm and 4pm (weapons practise — bring your weapons if you have them)
* Sun 10am to 1pm (with a break in between)
Fri and Sat there will be an evening dinner somewhere nearby.
30€ for the whole seminar, or 10€ per practise.

On Thursday this week, at 7pm, we have an open doors #aikido training session, along with the #Taekwondo club. Anybody can come and try one or both arts. So please do pop round if you're anywhere near #Rajamäki in #Nurmijärvi — or even if you're not! Aikido is a beautiful and deep #martialArt and while it requires patience, is hugely rewarding.

Heads up: we are hoping to have Takeshi #Yamashima (8th dan #aikido) to lead practise at our dojo in #Rajamäki on the 7th of August in the evening!

What a lovely #aikido practise. The mayor of #Nurmijärvi came to visit our @Ryushinkan dojo in #Rajamäki to give it a go. She was all smiles afterwards and everyone had a fun time.

Near where I live, in #Rajamäki, #Nurmijärvi, there is #beer #brewery that is unique in creating beer especially for #fineDining and #Michelin star restaurants. #DoGoodBrew beers are created to be paired with specific menus currently in Finnish restaurants but they are also working with international restaurants. They are the only brewery specifically targeting fine dining. Interestingly they’re located in the old #Alko factory building.
