States like #California, #WashingtonState, and #Florida raised their #minimum #wages this year, but others, like #Texas and #Indiana, are still stuck at $7.25 an hour - unchanged since 2009. How can we let millions of workers fall behind while costs keep rising? It is 2019, and it is time for fair wages nationwide.

Yet again, the “far left” in the States is just centrism and the status quo everywhere else.

The longer they take to #RaiseTheWage, the more they'll have to raise it, and the more sudden it'll have to be, which means the more it's going to anger corporate dicks, conservatives and other sociopaths.

I believe when there isn't a consistent (reasonably) predictable Fed Min Wage, some states/cities move on their own sometimes in a way that is too aggressive and creates unintended consequences for businesses & employees.
Some businesses hit the ceiling on pricing elasticity when trying to absorb. This can end up working against the desired result with less entry wage positions. Not always*
So I prefer federal min wage increase on a reasonably predictable basis.
