I didn't realize it before, but I've been dealing with emotional exhaustion for a few years now. I had to ask for help, and a friend who answered clued me in.
I suspect many others are dealing with it as well.
Early on, it may have been just a shitty job to handle, but life events build up, bad news becomes invasive to our thoughts and suddenly we have no motivation and can't figure out how to handle all the crap that's going on.
I internalize this stuff, and yes it does and has affected my health. So I wanted to at least #RaiseAwareness for people who's lives have descended into the same kind of confusion and can't figure out what's going on.
As they say, knowing about it is 1/2 the battle.

With the beating death of Tyre Nichols, something snapped. My last fuck was forcefully wrested from me by a network of organizations, institutions, corporations and even government.
The reason is a myriad of violence, lack of or no effective action to address country-destroying problems, blatant fleecing of the public (ie... inflation), no accountability, and finally, stripping future generations of quality of living because of the #ClimateCatastrophe (if they're able to survive at all).
