🚂 Train station in Roseville, Calif. on July 21, 2025.

What year do you think it was built?
I was shocked to hear it was built in 1994! Inside is a collection of murals documenting the rail history of Roseville, which is home to the largest rail yard in California.

It's also the hub for railfans in the area who help maintain the train cameras in the area (link in comments).

The California Zephyr stopped in Roseville for about 30 minutes, a rare occurrence, allowing us to explore the charming station that serves Amtrak and Greyhound customers.

I had a good day at the #modeltrainclub running my UP and VIA passenger train consists for some young enthusiastic #railfans

They had a blast taking pictures of the HO and N scale layouts , and getting to take the reins of some of the locomotives.

I'm so happy to help be able to give wonderful opportunities like I had at that age and foster more of that passion.
