N901DC, McDonnell Douglas MD-90-30 prototype, in the manufacturers colours, doing a series of test/demonstration flights for some local airlines at Manchester Airport, 18th June 1993. None of these airlines placed orders for this type, and in fact one placed large orders for Airbus A320’s just a couple of weeks later, even though they already operated a fleet entirely made up of MD83’s.‘Throw Thursday 18th June 2026.
SX-BED, Airbus A300B4-203, Olympic Airways, being pushed back from it’s stand at London Heathrow, some time in the early 1990s. F-GBYJ, Boeing 737-228Adv, Air France, being pushed back from it’s stand at London Heathrow, some time in the 1990s, as seen from the Glass House on top of The Queens Building. -
