La fougère qui veut se faire aussi grande que le radar.... Ça me rappelle quelque chose…
Hier après-midi, le ciel était comme il faut pour un bel arrière-plan pour des photos en contre-plongée et j'en ai bien profité autour du radar de Menez an Duc que j'aime beaucoup photographié avec sa sphère, le béton, les reflets métalliques. En descendant à la carrière en contrebas (pour encore plus de contre-plongées cumulées avec le reflet du radar dans l'étang*), la lande était magnifique.

Et surtout « le #Radôme géant de 50 mètres de haut, 64 mètres de diamètre et 200 mètres de circonférence […] Il abrite l'antenne de télécommunication (PB1) qui a permis la 1ère expérience de #mondovision avec la transmission vidéo en direct entre les États-Unis et l'Europe le 11 juillet 1962 »

I visited the Bochum Observatory few weeks ago. Guido, #DL9DBP, showed us around the #radome - a 40 m high supporting air dome that protects the 20 m parabolic #antenna inside from the weather.
The #Bochum #Observatory is an educational centre for space and environmental research, receiving, registering, processing and interpreting satellite data to explore the Earth using space technology. And they are also about to follow the launch and journey to the #moon of #Artemis. -
