For people being concerned about scams, the most common scam is people in the west stealing from Palestinians. Palestinians have no choice but to put their faith in someone, be it a friend or family or one of the larger organisers.
Some have even had funds stolen by relatives in the west, which is unfathomable to me. It's very important that the campaign organiser be a trustworthy individual. It's also important that organisers do their own due diligence when involved in financial transactions.

Reminder that while @onepalestine is one pf the larger campaign managers, they don't have the bandwidth to also post about the campaigns. That's where the rest of us come in. Efforts like @lifeline4gaza and @gazaverified do what they can to post about the most neglected appeals, but they aren't sufficient.
