on the subject of #RadioGram , I always write down the message as it comes across. one of the major points of the radiogram is that it has to be perfect to the letter.

The way i learned was by checking in to the slow speed net. They gave me test traffic at slow speed, and since it was test traffic, it was no big deal if i messed up.

Eventually, I got to the point where the let me run the slow speed net on thursdays!

For those of you who do the #AmateurRadio and #MorseCode thing, I will be NCS on the Ohio Slow Net tomorrow at 1800 EST on 3535.35. I will slow to whatever speed you need.
If you let me know that you will be checking in ahead of time, I will prepare a #radiogram for you to receive over the air.
It will be SO FUN!

I am totally interested in learning about the #DigitalTrafficNetwork. I just don’t like that it is focused on a windows protocol ( #vara) but I have nothing that will run it.

I would either need to emulate windows or find a hardware modem.

Local Slow Nets are awesome for learning #CW Nets at a comfortable pace.

When I was young (you know proper idiot young, "skipping" to walk type young) old Freddie over the road (a friendly man who seemed to annoy my Mum intensely but who amused me as he stuttered his way around his tales of the day... "it was Wednesday... No Tuesday... No.."... had a radiogram. Where home audio met wooden furniture. Dated even then.
Now they go for daft prices on flea-bay.
