It was originally referred to as the “Gallant Olde Party” in the Congressional Record to invoke the pride and bravery demonstrated by #RadicalRepublicans in the victory of the Union against the seditious Confederacy.
The gallantry was replace with tenure as it morphed into “Grand Old Party.”
We could all use some radical gallantry.

Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN), represents the area in Nashville where this morning's school shooting took place at the Covenant School. Below, you'll see an image of the Christmas card sent out last year by Rep. Ogles family. His family appears to be happily armed with the same assault rifles used by this morning's shooter.
