As a member of the European Parliament, I strongly believe that we need to strengthen the European Investment Bank (EIB) to support our economy and businesses. The EIB has been doing its job well, but we need to give it more power to invest in strategic projects and improve our competitiveness.

We need to do this because the current situation in Europe is not good enough. Our markets are sekasortoisessa tilassa, and some EU countries have used public money to support their companies during the crisis. This is not the right way to go, and we need a better solution.

I propose that we radically strengthen the EIB to address these challenges. This will help our economy grow, create new jobs, and improve our competitiveness. It's the best option for all European Union member states and their businesses.
