  1. Spain is developing a hydrophobic polymer material for Passive Daytime Radiative Cooling (PDRC).

"The underlying physical principle of PDRC relies on the material's ability to emit thermal energy as infrared radiation toward outer space, acting as a remote heat sink, by exploiting the atmospheric transparency window (8–13 μm)."

  2. Basics of #RadiativeCooling through #AtmosphericWindow

Certain bands of wavelengths allow thermal emissions to directly escape the atmosphere (instead of blocked or partially scattered back to Earth).

The goal is to shift material emission to that band, while using reflectivity at the absorption wavelengths.

  3. I’m thrilled to share with you that I joined Princeton University as Gerhard R. Andlinger Visiting Fellow! 🎓✨ At the Andlinger Center, I’ll research combining #RadiativeCooling with #Photovoltaics to boost solar panel performance.

I'm excited to connect with fellow scholars and students—let’s grab a coffee if you’re around! 🤓☕

Huge thanks to everyone who supported me over the past 20 years. Your belief means the world to me. 🙌
