    Yesterday the family and I stopped at Long Way Brewing in #Radford, #Virginia. I got myself the Broad Street, a pre-prohibition porter that's been sweetened with molasses. Followed it up with Cranniversary 3.0, a tart stout brewed with cocoa and cranberry.

    @Dreamflower Hiya... I put an #Appalachia tag on one of my introduction posts, and follow it looking for neighbors. Saw your intro, also with a #NewEngland tag, which is where my life started too (mostly WMass, Conn, RI), almost 75 years ago. #Radford #Virginia has been home since 2007.
    Fond of the town of #Floyd and the #FloydCountryStore music scene, Blue Ridge Parkway rec area hiking trails, & more. Other hashtags of yours make me wonder whether you're already there. 🙂

    But thanks for the recommendation...
    I never get north of Roanoke unless I'm going all the way to New York and New England to see friends and family, or crossing over into W.V.

    I'm getting close to 75 and "hike" is an overstatement for my sauntering up & down mostly well-cleared trails (pic) and paved pathways. But there are plenty of those along the Blue Ridge Parkway and the New River, including a 4 mile "riverway" here in #Radford.
