  4. There is a long history of flawed research that claims white people are more intelligent, etc.
We knew this over 40 years ago to my knowledge. Why are they still getting away with it?

  8. #JuelTaylor’s #TheyClonedTyrone (Netflix 2023) is a #ScienceFiction movie good enough to call a #FutureClassic.
#JohnBoyega is grim & touching in the lead. #JamieFoxx is sharp & funny af. And #TeyonahParris’s Yo-Yo both fulfills & deconstructs the burden placed on Black women to save the world. All that, and #KieferSutherland is a wonderfully menacing villain!

  11. Countless analyses collected across decades demonstrate unequivocally that bias and inequity based on race (i.e., racism) have occurred and still occur throughout the United States. Racism has been, and still is, well documented again and again and again in American higher ed. Six of the nine justices on the US Supreme Court chose to disregard these facts & argue for a “race neutral” approach in college admissions.

  13. Using a dataset of 1,000,000 papers from six publishers over the past two decades, we find fewer non-White editors than would be expected based on their share of authorship. Moreover, non-White scientists endure longer waiting times between the submission and acceptance of their manuscripts, and upon publication, their papers receive fewer citations than would be expected based on textual similarity.

  19. Buffalo supermarket assassin quoted a set of racist scientists to justify killing black people These scientists are tolerated by mainstream science & funded by racist philanthropists. 21. I am still working on identifying how #SwissScience has been/is influenced by discrimination and #ColonialismInScience, not to say #RacismInScience. I am convinced there is room for doing better. These short @NaturePortfolio articles are clearly helping. #BetterScience.
