Has anyone played #RacingSim #games on #Linux/#Bazzite with #Oversteer? I don't quite get how it works or what needs to be set up if any - was only interested after seeing Oversteer being installed on Bazzite. Is it just... plug and play?

I coded an arduino micro with a tilt sensor and attached it (with tape) to my controller. Now I can properly steer in racing sims.

Playing the new #SpeedDreams 2.3.0 on my break here. Impressive!
I grabbed the #Linux AppImage from the Speed Dreams website and am VERY pleased with: Overall experience, music, sound fx, mouse steering (!) and configurability. Holy smokes this has been a lot of fun.

Next Level GT Lite foldable simracing seat reviewed - It's cheaper than a dedicated rig, and it folds away
Dedicated sim racing rigs can take up quite a bit of space and generally stay where they are. Using your normal desk chair often means sliding around so this is an interesting intermediate solution: : lower-cost, foldable simracing frames which can accommodate standard motorsport hardware and be folded away for storage between uses.
Next Level’s GT Lite, is competitively pitched below the £200 mark, comparable to the cost of a basic wheel and pedals set-up. For this the manufacturer promises “the perfect foldable GT position cockpit for users that have limited space but still demand a realistic and rigid racing solution”.
As the name suggests, the arrangement is designed to mimic a GT car seating position rather than a single-seater. The height of the front legs is adjustable and so is tilt angle of the steering wheel. My high level comparison of rFactor 2 vs Assetto Corsa vs ACC racing simulators
This video compares the look and feel of the menus, options, FPS (on Linux with Wine), and variety of cars/tracks for the three racing simulators. They all do different things better and worse so 'it depends' as usual what your own choice would be.
Some live for the sheer driving realism feeling, others for the variety of cars or tracks, and yet others for the photo-realism. I only touched lightly on taking "photos" in the video, but Assetto Corsa does have a photo mode complete with HDR and filters.
I'm only starting out myself so there are no detailed technical specs nor opinions yet live online racing and how good the AI racing is.
Why only these three racing sims? Well I bought these three and will not go into monthly subscriptions for iRacing. Having the MG TC in Assetto Corsa was one of the reason I bought this racing sim. In this video I take it around the Lime Rock Raceway track and show off a few different angles including a pit stop.
