— "Swedish police on Sunday arrested two people and detained around 10 people after a violent riot broke out at a protest involving a burning of the Quran, police said.The protest was organized by Iraqi Assyrian refugee Salwan Momika, whose protests -- which have included public desecrations of the Muslim holy book -- have sparked outrage across the Middle East.
Sunday's protest was held in a square in the southern city of #Malmo, which has a large immigrant population, and according to public broadcaster #SVT around 200 people had shown up to watch.
Local media reported that some onlookers threw rocks at Momika, and video from the scene showed some trying to break through the cordon before being stopped by police."

I thought I would never see the day that Swedish Police attacks an unarmed woman trying to stop a lunatic setting Quran on fire, then charging her for assault.
We really living in an upside down world. Extremist morons get protection by the police, but woman who tries to stop this madness gets attacked and charged.It is truly a disgusting and shameful day for being Swedish.

When a protester burned a Quran in Stockholm this week on the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha, hopes for Turkish approval for Sweden to join NATO by the Vilnius summit in July sank even lower than they already were — practically subterranean.
The latest Quran-burning has not derailed talks with Turkey on Swedish NATO membership. But, the status quo may doom the alliance's timeline anyway.
