I've been a little busier than usual, thus tend to neglect the socials, here is a couple of pics, one from me last month having fun at 'Secret Walls' in LA drawing on the wall😄
And the other pic is my actual wall getting filled up with pieces I'm going to be showing in Sep, Oct, and some of those are for my very first solo art show in December!!😊 I'm also have a couple of personal projects, stay tuned and tell your friends!!🙏🏼 -
Did some LTD print run, of my "Traveler" pieces, there are just 15pcs of each, 5.5x8in on 12pts paper. only $5 each or 5 for $20 (one of each), Signed and numbered.
Unlike my usual illustrations these are for "general audience"!😁 perfect for gifts or put on your wall without worries! 👍

During the first month of the pandemic I was contacted by an art collector for a commission, was a surprising, generous and uplifting proposal! Topic was Kimono+Women, if you know me a bit, well that's a given!😁

Yet another little landscape from a series I'm calling "Little travels" 🙃

First time customizing a vinyl toy figure, didn't have all the required materials but was eager to experiment on it.
I used a "big boss robot" and transform it into
Pin-up TV Robot!
with ideas from vintage toy robots and bootleg packaging.The blue is just a generic picture from their site, I actually forgot to take a picture before messing with it :D

I'm actually like to digitally paint the old fashion (I'm not that bright when it comes to technology) thus I do stroke by stroke, since is a personal project I like to take my time, I'm pretty sure there are faster ways to do this, in the other hand is kind of therapeutic 🙃
This is a speedup vid of one of my paintings, tooke me around 3hrs I think.

and for the last of these series a "cool" (as in cold colors) landscape.
By the way I'm developing this little giant character, started as an accident in one of my ink wash paintings, (was meant to be a rock, then look like a creature 😅 ), I like how he can go places I would never be able to, and that's pretty much every where besides my neighborhood (nothing to do with current situation). Thus will keep sending him around.🙃

More repurposed paper, did a quick sketch/study for another piece and just cut the paper in fourths, these were done on those pieces, behind them there is parts of my study 😁

This is the second piece (I mentioned on my previous post)
They are a "playful" set, you put light trough them and shows some extra images, the kind of thing we used to do as child, is still fun now that I have grays on my beard 🙃

This is the first piece, in top of my ancient back light board (the boxy ones that makes drawing on them a sweet time for masochists) :D
