Two mages climbed a mountain.
Just as they reached the summit, they saw a curious creature.
"What a queer being, isn't it?" said one of them."Very queer, indeed!" replied the other. "Is it a flying lizzard?"
"It looks like a Hydra..."
"Oh, I remember! Isn't this queer monster a dragon?"
"Oh, yes! That's it! Wow. Cool!"
At this moment, the mages started to panic, because the dragon came out of a cloud, diving down towards them.
Their eyes were ablaze.
"How dare you deciding whether an individual is queer or not!? That is not up to you. Let everyone decide for themselves whether they are queer or not! Foul monsters!""But, but... O mighty monste.. I mean, dragon.." stammered the first mage, "We... we..."
"We merely said that you are a curious creature!" finished the second one.
For a short moment, the dragon was confused. Soon it dawned upon them...
"Ugh. You all should really update your vocabulary. Nobody uses 'queer' in that way anymore! Now, please leave me, and stop using that archaic nonsense!"#MicroFiction, not really a #TootFic anymore, I am affraid... #SmallStories

In the past few weeks I've seen several shares but not a lot of responses--and that's totally fine. This is a busy time of year for many, and there's never any obligation to participate. Oh boy, I had a plenty of writer's blocks! I remember how I felt when I was dealing with it when writing out the story for my narrative comics, especially current project (Piper's Treehouse). Sometimes, I just took breaks from writing and do something else, such as fishing.

CW: The Alien from Runesworld
"What's on your mind, Nahum?"
He/she/it lay on the pine-needle bed beside me, in the meadow of Shrinewood, on Ganymede. This was our yearly date--the Full Moon of August, as seen on Earth--and the time was 3 AM.
"I need to write an assignment," I said, "and this time I need to write about you... this seems so awkward."
"For starters, stop talking about me in Triple-gender," she murmured. "Of course I'm non-binary, like everyone else on Runeworld, but you may use the Poet's license to simplify things. Just choose the pronoun you are most comfortable with."
"Ok," I said to her. "Now... where do I start?"
"With a physical description," she replied, "as much as there is such a description when it concerns people like me."
I looked at her, a long, measured stare. She was humanoid, totally translucent and transparent except for a bare outline. She was naked, hairless, and without genital charactersitics. She looked... alien, but so intimately close...
She smiled. "That's a good start. Now, describe our typical date."
I go out to the outskirts of my neighborhood, an abandoned place, which serves us as a rendez-vous, and wait for her. She arrives in her spacecraft, which is as transparent as her, and I join her. The ride to Ganymede lasts between 10-30 minutes. I never asked her about the mechanics of Space travel.
We arrive on Ganymede around 10 PM, at the Interdimensional Spaceport, and walk to the Transition booth. She presses the buttons and chooses our destiny: one of the many meadows in Shrinewood. She places the "Do not Disturb" metaphysical signs around us and we start our picnic.
After we rest, we discuss my writing, and she gives me ideas. As an alien, she has a unique, fresh perspective on our local politics and customs...
"But not about sex," she interrupted me.
"That's why I never write about that," I smiled at her.

Doze
Eyelids slow blinking like a cat
The world splitting in dreams and reality.
Her warm hand slipped over his chest, fingers soft as flowers.
Breathing so shallow yet inebriated by oxygen.
Walls swirled and ceiling faded.
Color in and out.
Breath just shadows.
Heart setting beats, slow and hypnotic.
Eyes now hiding but open to a new chromatic landscape.
She finds her way in and the float away on an endless clear sea.
