Good morning Fedi friends. It was supposed to be a 3c night, but it certainly wasn’t, it was easily double that & today it’s only getting to 13c. After all the rain lately there’s a thick fog around the area. No rain forecast & no surprise, it’s 100% humidity.
I didn’t sleep so soundly last night even though I was tired. I was very hot & checked a couple of times that I hadn’t left the electric blanket on - I hadn’t, just me being my own little generator again, so I was constantly moving the doona on & off me.
I’m going to have a quiet day after I’ve walked the dogs, I might head into the village at lunchtime but that’s only a 5 min walk away. I have promised to go & feed a friends horse & her two dogs this afternoon as she has a wedding to go to & wont get home until very late.

Today was definitely a quiet day for me, but it was a pretty good one & I did get some things done. I got a some garden things sorted including new fittings for the hose reel & I got a few household things sorted.
A few hours of this afternoon was a bit of blob time though & I didn’t fancy any of the movies I’d recorded to watch later, so dvds it was. A toss up between Star Trek Strange New Worlds season 2, that I’d borrowed from my sister, or rewatch Raised by Wolves by Ridley Scott. I picked Star Trek because I’ve had it for ages & hadn’t got around to watching it. Not bad! I used to be a huge Star Trek fan right from the get go. I still think it holds a promise but it’s hard to see it nowadays, more like escapism. #StarTrek #QuietDay.

Good morning tooters. It was around 5c when I got up today & is still fairly cool at just 8c. We’re heading to a lovely sunny ☀️ 24c. It’s a cloudless blue sky outside & there’s not a breath of wind.
I am going to have a do nothing much day. I was so weary & sore last night that I was in bed quite early for me. Woke this morning with a headache, aching joints, a sore tummy & feeling kind of washed out. I don’t think I’m coming down with anything, but will go & get some tests just to be sure. I think digging holes for trees, digging out my Crepe Myrtle along with the over ambitious walk yesterday was just a little too much for this old girl. My stomach ache has nearly gone & my headache is fading though. I really do need to start being more mindful of my age, it’s not easy for me to pull back though.
So my plan for today is couch sitting, book reading, tv watching, playing some games & whatever else takes my fancy but doesn’t involve any hard work at all 😁.
