Installing Aurora Store on my #Quest3 was very worth it.

Pokud máte #VR headset #Quest2 (a nejspíš i #Quest3), je možné přidat k němu více uživatelů a sdílet mezi nimi aplikace, ale už ne data oněch aplikací. Dává to celkem logiku, dokud to neuděláte třeba u Beat Saberu, kde jsou přikoupené písně data aplikace a sdílení je tak nepřenáší 😒.

Pokud máte dva různé typy #VR od Mety, s jedním účtem multiplayer nepustíte (ověřeno). Z hlediska principu připojení je to asi logické, ale přidáním dalšího účtu jste odkázáni pouze na základní písně, případně je asi musíte znovu koupit i pro nový účet (to jsem nezkoušel).

U Steamu je to podobné, tam dokonce musíte mít dva účty aby se vůbec spustil #SteamVR. I Steam umožňuje sdílení her mezi účty, ale nemůžete je pustit z obou účtů současně, takže ty, co chcete hrát v multiplayeru musíte mít koupené / získané pro každý účet zvlášť.

Takže včera došlo na lokální #PvP #BeatSaber a #Blaston a #coop #Propagation. Je to docela zábava a výrazně lepší než s někým anonymním po netu 😁.

Birdseed VR 1.0 has landed on Meta Quest with multiplayer, new bird behaviours, Scout’s Store cosmetics, and expanded camera gear. Steam VR is still planned for later in 2026.

If you’re still considering buying a VR headset for exercise, just go for it. When I bought my first #oculusquest I lost 20kg within a year. Ofc, I was also 🚴 regularly, but in bad weather or when I was simply sick of boring cardio, I went for 30 mins of #ThrilloftheFight or #BeatSaber and got my heart pumping that way. Now it’s five years later, I regained half of the weight getting my PhD, building a 🏡 and getting married.

I’m restarting my #VR fitness journey with #quest3 and it’s fun.

They removed the old cute avatars on #OculusQuest and put some awful ones on its place. The new ones look absolutely horrendous!

Putting my quest and looking at the ‘mirror’ used to be a joy, but now I might even disable it entirely.

Also, the old style had so many creative and cute and pretty clothing but the new one only has some generic shit.

And of course, if you press the button to edit your avatar it will change to the new model and you cannot change back!

I'm not sure what else I can do to make this work for me. When the Federated Timeline worked, at least, there were some random toots of interest for things that are new to me. Now... nothing.

I just did a bunch of laps using SteamLink and my Quest 3 in both Automobilista 2 and Le Man Ultimate. Crazy intense, especially when in a crowd of cars. The situational awareness that VR offers while racing is astounding.

It's rather warm today, so strapping a big heavy piece of electronic gear to my face is not the most pleasant thing.

Still what a rush.

I had to know if Kitsune Tails ran directly on the Meta Quest 3 at >120fps and at 1080p via GameNative.

It's kinda awesome that I *can* kick back on the coach, stare at the ceiling and play it with an Xbox controller.

#LastLabyrinth – Das ist etwas skurril. Man ist gefesselt und muss ein Mädchen, dessen Sprache man nicht spricht, anweisen, Dinge zu tun. Bei den falschen Dingen wird sie getötet. Grafisch eher altbacken, aber ich mag die Stimmung. Prinzipbedingt sehr träges Gameplay.
