  1. I hear pinning an #introduction post is the thing to do around here so here we go.
Hi, I’m Kaitlyn (she/her). I’m a stay at home mom to a toddler, living in Colorado with my wife. I am cis but heavily immersed in
#trans issues as my wife is trans. I’m a bit of a #history and #psychology nerd, and use my free time #sewing clothes for myself and playing cozy #VideoGames like Power Wash Simulator and Sea of Thieves (sounds less cozy, I know, but I pride myself on my ship parking skills). I used to work (read: hold a volunteer position) in the local #greyhounds community and before that was an English teacher. I am undiagnosed but probably #audhd, as well as #demisexual (shall we say #lesbian presenting?). I am currently involved in my local #QueerChurch and love reading about #QueerTheology (but hate arguing for it). My preferred online engagement can probably be summed up best as “people watching” so don’t mind me, stealthily scrolling past your posts, slowly growing my parasocial relationship with you in secret 👀

  2. #introduction

This was supposed to be a silly gay shitposting account. This seems like such a kind and conscientious place though, I think I will have to get serious about gay shitposting.

  3. If you ever hear someone saying "God only made men and women" or "what's with all these new genders?" blow their mind with this:

We know that there were at least 6 distinct gender categories in classical Jewish texts. And, depending on how you count, there are a total of 8 categories.

Here’s how the Bible actually affirms transgender, non-binary, and gender-nonconforming people.

  7. I’m delighted to have a piece in the latest Canadian Journal of Theology, Mental Heath & Disability, reflecting on my experience as a #queer, #disabled Christian who grew up not hearing Bible stories like mine - and how I found them. Looking forward to reading the rest of the issue tomorrow - looks full of great critical work, as always. #DisabilityTheology #QueerTheology #CripTheory #Theology #Neurodiversity #Disability #CreativeArticle jps.library.utoronto.ca/index.
