TIL that men and women are gay because they've been possessed by one or more opposite-gender ghost, which is influencing their attraction

but why stop there? by this logic, we can conclude that:
- both lesbians and straight men are possessed by male ghosts
- both gay men and straight women are possessed by female ghosts
- bisexuals/pansexuals are possessed by ghosts in a mix of genders¹
- asexuals are not possessed by any ghosts and thus we can conclude that asexuality is the natural state of humanity
- if your orientation changes over time, it's because the number/type of ghosts possessing you has changed
