I went to the new Common Ground bookshop/bar in Dalston - highly recommended, came out with much money changed for books. And then I read the new Tilley Walden book, Charity & Sylvia, which was an amazingly emotional journey for someone who's never been to Vermont. #queergraphicnovels #bookshop

Do you like graphic novels with:
- adventure;
- female pirates;
- queer pirates;
- pirates of colour;
- loosely based on actual history, with a bit at the end telling you which bits are true and a list of nonfiction books if you want to do further reading ?

Then I highly recommend Tell No Tales: Pirates of the Southern Seas by Sam Maggs, illustrated by Kendra Wells.
