i was gonna call it “a classic” but actually it only released in 2023. gay rpgmaker indie about being trapped in a timeloop. shows the protagonist’s slow descent into insanity as he overthinks the situation. slightly grindy but not in a bad way. has a fandom but a bit niche. REALLY good game. go play it!!!!!!

Purple Sloth, as a queer indie game development collective, aims to build a space that welcomes different voices and experiences within the LGBTQIA+ community. Formed in 2018 during a game jam, we came together to craft games that reflect (our) queer identities, even if not every project has a queer focus. Sometimes our games include queer characters or experiences, others are explizitly educational about queer terminology.

I'm looking to try out some other instances, mostly to find new people to follow, not because I'm planning to abandon this one (until I can afford to install a progressive activist creator-focused instance of my own). Some nice ones to look into would be #roleplay, #queergaming, #webcomicartists, #contentcreator /#streamer, #youtuber, I guess "influencer" though I hate the term, and any kind of #creativenetworking as well. For some reason, search doesn't seem to work for me very well--I assume something to do with the instance I'm on, so that makes it hard for me to look for them on my own.

Also willing to try out any servers that just seem cool or interesting (no coding/webdev/type things though lol, that goes way over my head). Suggestions?
